Oratorical Competition
Topic: “Just Imagine a World without Boundaries”
Your North Bay Village Optimists encourage you to invite all youth under the age of 19 y.o. to participate in this year's Oratorical Contest!
The benefits of participating are lifelong and give youth the opportunity to:

- Win college scholarships!
Prizes totaling $500 will be awarded locally. The winners of our local contest then have opportunity to compete at the District level on April 26th in Naples, FL for their share of $5,000 in scholarships. Then advance to compete at the World Championship Oratorical Contest on July 15-17, 2020 at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri for scholarships totaling $30,000!
When and Where: Our local Oratory Contest will be held on Sunday, April 5th at 1:00 pm in Village Hall, 1666 John F Kennedy Causeway #3, North Bay Village, FL 33141.
Contestants will deliver a 4 to 5 minute speech on the assigned topic. The contest is open to youth under the age of 19 as of October 1st, 2020.
The deadline to enter is March 29th 2020.
